How are pets fed/given Meds?
You are required to bring your pet’s food with you. We also offer food for purchase if needed. However, please ensure that the food is pre-portioned by meal in individual bags or containers. For instance, if your pet eats twice a day, you should provide two seperate bags or containers that day. Medications must be in their original containers and clearly labeled with the medication’s name.
Feeding and medication schedules are as follows: 6:00am, 12:00pm, 3:00pm, and 8:30pm
If your pet is a free-feed eater, we kindly request that you bag their food on a per-day basis. You can provide a single bag of food per day, and we will leave it accessible for them throughout the day. However, it’s essential that the food is portioned out by day.
If your pet has a strict medication schedule, we will adhere to it.

What if my dog can’t play with other dogs?
We can accept up to 5 dogs at a time that are not allowed to interact with other dogs in the facility. If your dog is designated as a ‘no-play-group’ dog, we encourage you to select activities from our excursions and add-on list to provide your dog with exercise. These dogs still go out to their own space for the same amount of time as the group-play dogs; however, they do not receive individualized attention.
What vaccinations are required and do I need to spay/neauter my dog?
All pets visiting Leashes & Leads must provide proof of the following vaccinations: DHLPP (Distemper Combo), Rabies, and Bordetella (recommended every 6 months). While not required, we highly recommend that your dog receive a yearly influenza shot. To ensure a smooth reservation process, please provide your pet’s vaccination records before making your first reservation.
You can send your vaccination records to us via the following methods:
Email: guestservices@leashesandleads.com
Text: (855) 711-2613
Fax: (507) 424-1695
At Leashes & Leads, we prioritize the happiness and health of your dogs during their visits. To ensure this, we have a policy of keeping our intact (un-neutered) male guests who are 9 months and older separate from our other guests during playtime. Rest assured, they will still have the opportunity to enjoy playtime in our private yards, but they will not be part of the regular play groups.

We offer a variety of add-ons and excursions to enhance your pet's stay. If your reservation is already made, please call, text, or email to add on additional services. You can also add these through your pre-check link that you will receive before your drop off date.
