Don’t have time to train your dog? We can help!

While your dog is in Playcare or Boarding at Leashes and Leads, a professional dog trainer can train your dog for you; therefore, you will have a tired and better mannered pup to bring home! While being at our facility one of our trainers will work with them one-on-one each session on a specific skill of your choice. Maybe your dog needs some refresher sessions to reinforce previously learned skills, or maybe there’s a problem behavior at home that one of our trainers can address. Whatever the need is, our trainers would love to help your beloved 4-legged friend be the best they can be!

K9 Training Programs

No time to train, let us do it for you! Choose a program that best suits your needs!

Puppy – K9 Academy

$450.00-800.00 for a 4,6, and 8 week training programs

  • Age: 8 weeks – 5 months
  • Drop off: 7-9am, pick up: 4-6pm
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays : 10am – 3pm
  • What will your dog learn at the K9 Academy? Human/dog Socialization, crate/potty training, name recognition, sit, down, place, heel with automatic sit, come/indoor recall, impulse control/wait.
  • We will also address problems like barking, biting/nipping, jumping, chewing.
  • Puppy academy includes two group training lessons at L&L with the other puppies/parents.
  • Barky bus drop off and pick up available along with boarding options to stay overnight for additional rates.

Basic Obedience – K9 Academy

$800.00 for a 4 week basic obedience program

  • Age: 6 months and older
  • Drop off: 7-9am, pick up: 4-6pm
  • Mondays & Wednesdays : 10am -3 pm
  • What will your dog learn at K9 Academy? Sit, down, place, watch/look, heel, loose leash walking, come/recall, indoor off leash, impulse control, wait, leave it, holding a sit/down.
  • We will also address general manners and specific behaviors explained by owner.
  • Basic obedience academy includes two in-person training lessons at L&L with one or two other dogs/owners.
  • Barky bus drop off and pick up available along with boarding options to stay overnight for additional rates.

Advanced Off-Leash – K9 Academy

$1400.00 for 4 weeks
This program specifically focuses on training with a remote (electric) collar which is included in the price and will be provided on the first day of training.

  • 3 dog limit per session and the dog must be approved to be in the program by our certified instructor.
  • 4 week training program
  • Age: 5 months and older
  • Drop off: 7-9am, pick up: 4-6pm
  • Mondays & Wednesdays  : 10am – 3pm
  • What will your dog learn at K9 Academy? Everything included in basic obedience, on and off leash with inside/outside training.
    Advanced Off-Leash academy includes two in-person training lessons at L&L to teach you everything you need to know to have control of your dog.
