Leashes & Leads will do our best to stay open for business to serve our customers. However, in the event of inclement weather where it is determined to be unsafe driving conditions, selected services may be disrupted and/or close entirely. On such occasions Leashes & Leads will monitor a variety of agencies including the MN Dept. of Transportation to monitor road conditions. Our commitment is to alert you as soon as possible of such closures or disruptions.
If our services close we will notify the public by the following:
- Posted on KTTC.com for Delays and Closures (this also posts to their TV channel)
- Posted on our Leashes & Leads Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/leashesandleads)
- All customers who are scheduled to arrive and/or depart will receive an email and text alerts (please verify we have an accurate email and mobile phone number on your account that can receive text messages)
In the event that our Playcare services must close early due to worsening conditions, and you have your pet already checked in for Playcare for the day, we will email you immediately as soon as the decision to close early is made and inform you of the time it is scheduled to close. If you are unable to pick up your pet before we close, we will make overnight accommodations (boarding) for them at our lowest offered rate. If you are able to pick up your pet the next day prior to 12noon, you will only be charged one night’s boarding rate at our lowest offered rate. If you cannot pick them up until after noon on the next day they will be moved back to our Playcare and you will be charged your qualified Playcare rate for that day. Also, on potential bad weather days, it would be advised to bring some food in a baggy in case your pet stays overnight. If you did not bring extra for we will charge a minimal feeding fee.
We thank you for your cooperation as we do our best to balance keeping our services open and available with safety. If you have any questions, please contact Guest Services at (507) 282-2710.
