Robin Brown: Distance Handling 2- WORKING SPOT

This half day seminar will build on the skills learned in Distance Handling I. These skills are useful for games such as Gamblers or Jackpot, but also increase your dogs level of commitment so you can leave earlier and drive up their line to where you need to be.

This half day seminar will build on the skills learned in Distance Handling I. These skills are useful for games such as Gamblers or Jackpot, but also increase your dogs level of commitment so you can leave earlier and drive up their line to where you need to be. Again we will focus on “go”, “out”, “back”, lateral sends, advanced obstacle discrimination and will also touch on layering, stepping up the difficulty level as we go.

The exercises in this seminar are more advanced, so previous participation in Distance Handling I or instructor approval will be required. Dogs should be comfortable working in a group setting and have a reliable recall. Weaves maybe used in this level of distance handling.
