Beth Hostetter

OneMind Dogs Agility Instructor

Beth’s lifelong passion for dog training started as a little girl with her Samoyed. Through the years she has also owned and trained Malamutes, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Shelties and now Bearded Collies. Once an obedience competitor, Beth has changed her focus to Agility. Beth competes in AKC, USDAA, UKI and CPE.

A life long learner - Beth is a Certified OneMind Dogs Instructor, the only one in Minnesota. Beth traveled across the country and to Finland to earn this certification and continues her learning in the OneMind Dogs method of agility. OneMind Dogs method originated in Finland. It is agility training from the Dog’s perspective. OneMind Dog handlers are on the podium in every world team level competition.

In Beth’s classes you will find the focus is on the handler and the dog both having a fun time with lots of enthusiasm to build drive and excitement for the game. Handlers learn to understand their dogs behavior and how to use the handler’s own body language to communicate the courses better for their dogs.
